Probably the best quote on game theory I’ve ever heard came directly from Kevan’s website:
“The world needs more games that you can explain in three minutes and play for hours, with a single deck of any old cards.”
That quote could only be spoken by someone who truly understands why we, as humans, game.

Danny, aka quasistoic, commented on a flickr photo of mine. I looked up his website, and saw that he was a most excellent person. I then saw that he was planning on going to Laughing Squid 10th Anniversary Party . I did not seem him there, so I sent him a Flickr msg.
He responded saying that he did not make it. We both figured that we would bump into each other sooner than later.
Last weekend, I ran into him at Courtney and Jason’s house warming party. I did not recognize him, but I recognized the lovely lady sitting beside him, Claudine from Kris Krug and her http://www.flickr.com/photos/bonequinha_sf/53897506/">photo meeting and account of their encounter. Then Danny said “are you Lloyd Budd” and the circle was closed.
It was at this Flickr meet, see, but he doesn’t go to those anymore. :(
